Cardisio in the Press

Cardisiography was specifically developed for use by internal medicine general practitioners and cardiologists in order to be able to quickly, precisely, and non-invasively diagnose or rule out heart diseases.

New Scientific Milestone in Cardiology: The Physics Behind the ECG

We are proud to share our latest publication, “A mathematical approach to demonstrate R-to-T wave concordance of the human ECG” (Passow & Tenderich, 2025), published in the Scientific Reports. Scientific Reports is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific mega journal published by Nature Portfolio.

For the first time, this work provides a closed mathematical model describing the electric potential of the human myocardium throughout the entire QT interval — offering a physical explanation for the long-debated R/T wave concordance. This model lays the theoretical foundation for next-generation, AI-enabled diagnostic methods such as Cardisiography (CSG), which use field theory and machine learning to detect subclinical myocardial dysfunction non-invasively and at rest. In essence: From electrophysiology to field theory — from empirical interpretation to a physics-based understanding of the heart.
