Das American College of Cardiology (ACC) geht davon aus, dass bei Menschen mit Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankungen h\u00e4ufiger ein schwerer Verlauf auftritt, der mit einem erh\u00f6hten Sterblichkeits- und Komplikationsrisiko verbunden ist. Das legen Fallberichte aus China nahe. Au\u00dferdem lassen die Erkenntnisse aus fr\u00fcheren Conoravirus-Epidemien darauf schlie\u00dfen, dass COVID-19 das Herz angreift.<\/p>\n<p>Wie riskant eine Infektion wirklich ist, h\u00e4ngt nat\u00fcrlich vom Einzelfall ab. Aufgrund des Gef\u00e4hrdungspotenzial bei anderen Virusinfektionen mahnt die Deutsche Herzstiftung gerade bei diesen Patienten zur besonderen Vorsicht:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patienten mit einer eigenst\u00e4ndigen Erkrankung der Atemwege (z. B. Lungenentz\u00fcndung, Lungenemphysem, Asthma, COPD, Hochdruck im Lungenkreislauf)<\/li>\n<li>Patienten, die als Folge einer Herzerkrankung eine Funktionseinschr\u00e4nkung der Atemwege haben (z. B. Blutstauung im Lungenkreislauf als Folge der Herzschw\u00e4che)<\/li>\n<li>Patienten, die eine voneinander unabh\u00e4ngig bestehende Atemwegs- und Herzerkrankung haben (z. B. COPD und koronare Herzkrankheit)<\/li>\n<li>Patienten, die immunsupprimierende Medikamente einnehmen (z.
